1. Contour welding

In profile welding, the weld seam is scanned one or several times by a focused beam. When the laser beam passes through the weld, the welding material is heated to the melting point and solidifies immediately, thereby achieving fusion of the two welding materials. Contour welding is used to achieve instant fusion to avoid cosmetic defects or functional damage; in addition, there is almost no limit to the size of the butt weld in contour welding, and parts larger than 1m can also be processed.

 

2. Quasi-synchronous welding

In semi-synchronous welding, a focused laser beam is repeatedly scanned over the weld at high speed. The entire weld is heated and melted almost simultaneously. Through the simultaneous melting of the material at the welding track and the clamping pressure, the two parts to be welded are welded along the welding seam. The welding penetration can compensate for the unevenness of the weldment and can also be used as a process control point.

 

3. Simultaneous welding

In simultaneous welding, the entire weld seam is heated and melted simultaneously by one or more lasers. The shaping and configuration of the laser source and the light spot can be realized by suitable optical units, so that the ability absorption per unit length of all the welds in the welding process is consistent.

 

4. Mask welding

The line laser beam melts and bonds the plastic by scanning a specific template in a certain direction, which exposes only a small, accurate part of the plastic part below to be welded.
